Biography
Mary Brown was born 13 Aug and baptized 13 Sep 1838 in Insch, the daughter of Francis Brown and Sarah Sangster[1]. In the 1841 census, 2 year old Mary is living at Towie in Clatt with her mother and sister Jean age 10 months. She emigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1868. At some point Mary married James Paterson McKenzie. Mary died in Oxbox 31 Oct 1902 and is buried in the Oxbow Cemetery in Oxbow.
