Biography
Clarphie was born in 1910.
On his World War II draft registration card, C.A. is described as living at 6931 Canal St. in Houston, Texas. He was employed by Texas Linen Supply in Houston and listed his father as his next of kin. Physically, C.A. is described as a white male, 5' 2" tall, weighing 155 lbs., he is bald, with grey eyes, and a ruddy complexion. The form notes a number of facial scars, including a perpendicular scar on the right forehead, a diagonal scar over the left eye, and a scar on the nose.[1]
He passed away in 1951. His cause of death was listed as a heart attack.[2]
