Biography
Brita Christina Brosten was born on June 15, 1761 in Kyrkbyn in Orsa parish, Kopparbergs län, Sweden. She was the youngest child of länsman Anders Brosten (1720–1786) and his wife Clara Steen (1719–1772).
She married book keeper/bokhållare Henric Sundberg in 1797. Her husband was 30 and she was 36 years old at the time. They had son Anders Gustaf.
She died on November 14, 1799 in Hytting, Stora Tuna, Kopparberg, aged 38. Cause of death: lungsot, i.e. tuberculosis. Her son died four months later.
Her estate inventory shows that the family were fairly well off. She owned engraved jewelry and a large warderobe.
