Biography

Rachel was born in February 1841 in Illinois. She married John Caskey by the time she was 19 (their oldest child was 9 in 1870) and they had a family.^[1][2]

By 1900, her husband had died. She lived alone in Benton, Illinois.^[3]

Research Notes

An unsourced family tree on Ancestry says that she died in 1921, possibly in California.
