Biography

Eli BROOKER was born about 1837 in Framfield, Sussex, England. He is the son of Michael Brooker and Hannah Curd.

The barque, Cleveland set sail from the Downs, England on 25 July 1839 with the BROOKER family among the passengers and arrived in Port Adelaide, Province of South Australia on 18 December 1839^[1][2]. The BROOKER family consisted of parents, Michael and Hannah and children, Martha, Mary Ann, John, Harriett, Caroline, Elizabeth, Samuel and Eli.

Mary Ann NICHOLLS and Eli BROOKER were married in 1868 in Colony of Victoria^[3].
