Hydeia Broadbent was an American HIV/AIDS activist who was born HIV positive. Doctors did not expect her to live past the age of 5, but as a child, she became an outspoken educator about HIV/AIDS and dedicated her life to raising awareness.
Hydeia Broadbent was born in 1984. She was adopted by Loren and Patricia Broadbent as an infant and diagnosed with HIV at the age of 3. She passed away in 2024.
