Biography
Nicholas was born in 1810 in Edgefield, South Carolina. He married Aletha Meadows on January 11, 1829 in Harris County, Georgia. They had twelve children.
He died, at the age of 54-55, on November 13, 1865 in Chambers County, Alabama. He is buried at the Briskey Cemetery, Chambers County, Alabama.[2]
Research Notes
He is buried in Briskey Cemetery and his headstone has Briskey. But other members of his family use the spelling Brisky.
