He was a sheep farmer. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for New Zealand in 1967. He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Brisco, of Crofton Place, co. Cumberland [G.B., 1782] in 1968
Birth
Sir Donald Gilfrid Brisco, 8th Bt. was born on 15 September 1920. He was the son of Sir Hylton Musgrave Campbell Brisco, 7th Bt. and Kathleen McAllum.
Education
He was educated at Wairarapa College, Masterton, New Zealand
Military Service
He gained the rank of Warrant Officer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force during World War II.[1]
Marriage
He married Irene Gage, daughter of Henry John Gage, on 5 August 1945.
Death
He died on 24 June 1995 at age 74.
