Biography

Sally was born at home on the 8th October 1916, Her birth was registered on the 21st November by her mother Sarah nee Kingsman. Her father is given as Thomas Elijah Bridges, a general dealer. ^[1]

She married George Watson in 1939, shortly before he went off to war. The family home was then on Osbourne Road in Acton with her parents. When George returned from the war they moved to nearly Bollo Lane, where she cared for George as he recovered from PTSD.

She died 3 days after her 81st birthday (11 Oct 1999) in Thetford, Norfolk ^[2]
