Thomas married Maude Buckman in 1904. In the 1910 census T (age 37), Book Keeper, was the married head of household in Los Angeles Assembly District 72, Los Angeles, California, United States.^[3] In the 1920 census Thomas (age 51), Farmer, was the married head of household in Soledad, Los Angeles, California.^[4] In the 1930 census Thos (age 61) was the married head of household in Soledad, Los Angeles, California, United States.^[5] Thos Bridger was in a directory in 1938 in Los Angeles, California, United States.^[6]

Thomas died (age 71) from heat prostration on Friday, 22 September 1939 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.^[7][8] He was buried at Los Angeles Odd Fellows Cemetery, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.^[9]
