Biography

Sarah Brett was born to Seth Brett and Sarah Alden on 3 March 1717/18 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.^[1]

She married Matthew Allen on 11 November 1735 in Bridgewater.^[2]

There were two couples named Matthew and Sarah Allen in Bridgewater in this timeframe. One distinguishing feature of the two seems to be that only the proband's family was baptizing children in East Parish, where he was styled Matthew Jr.
