Ellen Breen was born on 28 Apr 1868 in Clohera (aka Cloghera/Cloghera Beg), Kerry, Ireland, daughter of Michael Breen (<1844–>1881) and Mary Doyle (<1845–>1881).[1]

Ellen (25) married Patrick Cronin (27) (born on 12 Nov 1866 in Dromdarragh, County Kerry, Ireland; son of Daniel Cronin and Bridget (Currane) Cronin) on 31 Jan 1894 in Cahersiveen. [2] Their children were[3]:

  • Based on unsourced passed down family history, Ellen died about Sep 1952 in Killarney, Ireland, aged about 83.Karen Haney 19:29, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
  • Possible death record
    • Ellen Cronin died on 15 Aug, 1955 (age 86) in Killarney, County Kerry. It was reported by her son Patrick. She was the widow of a laborer, from "Gortnagown" which is perhaps Gortnagane (Civil Parish of Kilcummin). Her death was registered in 1955 in the Killarney Superintendent Registrar's District.[6]
