Biography
This William Breed was born 13 May 1768 at Lynn, Massachusetts. He was the fifth child of Huldah (Breed) & Ezra Breed.
He was a yeoman and cordwainer; lived in Lynn.
He married:
1) About 1797 Lydia Breed, his second cousin. They had one child who died in adolescence:
- Ebenezer Breed (13 Nov 1797 - 16 Sep 1812)
Lydia died 1 Dec 1799. William then re-married:
2) 25 Aug 1802 @ Amesbury, Massachusetts, Elizabeth Purinton. They had 3 children; their first died in early childhood:
- Mary Breed (7 Nov 1803 - 29 Mar 1806)
William Breed passed away 31 Dec 1846 at Lynn, Massachusetts.
