Biography
Birth
Thomas was born in 1847 in Brighton, Sussex. He was the son of Henry Brand and Eliza Ellice.
Marriage
Thomas Seymour Brand and Annie Blanche Gaskell were married by licence in Kiddington, Oxfordshire on 4th December 1879.[1] Thomas was 32, a bachelor living in Devonport and a Commander in the Royal Navy, the son of Henry Bouverie William Brand, speaker of the House of Commons. Annie was just 19, a spinster living in Kiddington and the daughter of Henry Lomax Gaskell who was simply recorded as "Esquire". [2]
