John Braine was born in 1775 in Snowy Creek, Preston, Colony of Virginia, son of Benjamin James Brain and Nancy Porter.
John married Mary Polly Heron Boatman on 6 Apr 1809 in Nicholas County.[1][2] Their daughter was Louisa Brain.
John died in Stoner, Bourbon County, Kentucky, United States.
