Biography

In about October 1846, Benjamin (Benning, Ben) BRADLEY, son of George Edward Clements BRADLEY and Sarah TABER was born in Canada West, Province of Canada.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]

Benjamin was an Anglican.[1][3][4][6][7]

On January 11, 1851, Benjamin, his parents, Clements and Sarah and his siblings, Caroline, Elizabeth, Sarah, Julia, Richard and Frederick were residing in a one-storey log house on the family farm in Gloucester Township, Carleton County, Canada West.[1]

On January 13, 1861, Benjamin, his parents Clements and Sarah and his siblings, Eliz th, Sarah, Julia, Richard, Fred and Emma were residing on the family farm in Gloucester Township. Also living with the Bradley family were 2 labourers and 2 servants. Benjamin was attending school.[2]

On April 2, 1871, Benjamin. his father, Clements and his sisters, Sarah and Julia were residing on the family farm in Gloucester Township. Benjamin and his father, Clements, worked together on the family farm. Benjamin was single.[3]

On December 4, 1878, Benjamin, age 30 years, and Mary Jane MCPHERSON, age 18 years, were married in a religious ceremony in Ottawa, Carleton County. Both Benjamin and Mary were residing in Ottawa. Benjamin was a merchant.[8]

On April 6, 1891, Benjamin, his wife, Mamie, and their children, Birtie, William, George and Frank were residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was a tobacconist salesman.[4]

On June 25, 1906, Benjamin, his wife, Mamie, and their children, William, George, Franklin, Stanton and Irene were residing at 330 Donald Street, Winnipegl Living with the family was a lodger.[5]

On June 1, 1911, Ben, his wife, Mamie, and his children, Frank, Stanton and Berta were residing at 331 Assiniboine, Winnipeg. He was a motor man.[6]

On June 1, 1921, Benjamin, his wife, Mamie, and his children, George, Franklin and Stanton, were residing at 40 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg South.[7]

On August 24, 1923, Benjamin, age 74 years, passed away in Winnipeg, Manitoba.[9][10]
