Biography

John Boyle was born after 1800, when he shows up as a free white male in Patrick Boyle's household, aged under 10. The Boyles resided in Cecil County Maryland in the 1810 Census.

He passed away about 1826. The 1820 Census appears to be defective, and John Boyle would have been deceased by 1830.

Research Notes

There was a John Boyl, over 45, in the 1800 census of District 5, Harford County, Maryland. He had a male under 10, and one 10 to 16; also a female under 10, and one 16 to 26. He was probably too young to be the father-in-law of the first Patrick Boyle, but too old to be the husband of Hannah Lowe.

Hannah Boyle married second, perhaps in 1826 in Harford County, Maryland, perhaps to Lynch, They would have raised her son Andrew Boyle. Unfortunately the census doesn't have an every name index until after 1850, when Andrew Boyle would have been married, so it is difficult to check who raised Andrew.
