Catherine Boyle was born on 15th November 1844 at Mount Macedon, Victoria, Australia, being baptised that year in the Parish of St Francis' Roman Catholic Church, Melbourne. She is the daughter of William Boyle and Winifred Corcoran. ^{[1] [2]}
