I noticed that you're working on pre-1700-era profiles. This is just a reminder that certifying to work on these types of profiles means that you agree to add valid sources as outlined in the Pre-1700 Certification Quiz. Online family trees such as those on familysearch.org are not considered reliable sources for pre-1700 profiles. The Germany project has a good page on sources for German profiles: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Germany_Project_Resources
If you need help with this, our G2G Forum is a great place to start. You can get there by clicking the link on the Help menu.
Thanks!

Of course, reliable primary sources or secondary sources are always preferred for post-1700 profiles. The link above gives more information of what is considered a "reliable" source.
Jessie F (Heim) Deweese (1900-1992)
Thank you. I entered Helen Gump's FamilySearch and Find a Grave links. I would like to change her Privacy level from Private with Public Biography to public-tree.png Private with Public Biography and Family Tree, and have all of these changes be made to her husband, so that my closer relating to Ralph Edgar White can be publicly seen. I don't know who "They" are, who "frown on it", but I won't do anything more. However, FamilySearch and Find a Grave do publicly list information and relations for both people, without any frowns. The existing publicly viewable links to Ancestry.com on WikiTree provide information to anyone who is willing to pay Ancestry fees. Because of that, a frown on WikiTree doesn't do very much. Jim
I was unclear. I was referring to your comment of starting a second tree for the same person. Wiki frowns on it. Larry
Can you please give me a link to which Dewees you are questioning? Thanks, Jim [email address removed] (215) DE 1-4564
