Pierre Boyer and his wife Denise Refence (or Retonel from what has been read on his second marriage), are listed on the marriage of their son Charles in 1666. DOB estimated.
NOTE: They never came to the colony, there were other Boyer who came as well as Charles.

Research Notes
The source provided here does not list Pierre Boyer as age 35 in 1666, it lists his son Charles as 35 in 1667. PRDH also agrees that his birth was about 1631. So the parents marriage would likely have been before that, and the father would have been born before 1622 for this to happen. Therefore his birthdate is estimated at 1611.

Profiles for Catherine Vinet and her alter-ego Catherine Blain were added as wives of Pierre from unreliable and inaccurate sources and have been removed. Catherine Vinet was the wife of Pierre Bouhier who was not the same man. The supposed middle name Bougeois was also removed as it was a social designation (bourgeois) not a name. No records of Pierre in France have been located and his parents are not known.

The changes made on 3 July 2021 were only based on untrustworthy web sources. They should not have been imposed without some minimal research to check for accuracy. It will take a lot of work to clean up the mess here.

Was there some kind of source added here to support the addition of wives Catherine Vinet & Catherine Blain? Catherine Vinet was the wife of Pierre Boyer-1191. The bio of Catherine 'Blain' seems to indicate she was the same woman, i.e. being the mother of Anne Boyer who married Pierre Pinot.

Hi, Betty, on this source, I can only see Charles Boyer, and the date matches perfectly with Charles known birthdate. It does not seem to be for Pierre. Am I missing something? Right now Pierre (the fater) was only 9 when Charles was born, seems unlikely. I would like to adjust his birthdate to 1611 unless there's something better to go on. Your thoughts?
