- Mrs. Benjamin Huff
- Rachel, wife of Benjamin Huff, died at the home of R. A. Little at Saxton on Sunday, July 26, aged 79 years. For almost half a century the couple made their home at Shy Beaver, Huntingdon county, until Mrs. Huff was stricken with Paralysis about four years ago, when they went to Saxton to reside with their children. She was a devout Christian and for 60 years was a member of the Reformed church.
- The following children survive; J.W. and H.C. Huff, Mrs. W. J. Houp, Mrs. R.A. Little, and Mrs. Martin Moore, all of Saxton; Mrs. Felix Speck and Mrs. John Reed, of Shy Beaver; also 32 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The body was taken to her old home on Tuesday for interment.
