Biography

Wilfrid Bowles was born on January 01, 1895 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His parents were Richard Bowles and Annie Devitt.^[1]

He married Marion Edgington on July 16, 1923 in York County, Ontario.^[2]

Wilfred bought Lot 12, Con. 7, Blackstock in 1935. This is Broadlands Farm, which is still owned by the Bowles family (Edward Bowles). It was 400 acres at the time of purchase, now its about 250 acres, Evelyn Leery (Wilfred's second wife) sold it when Richard W. P. Bowles was away. She Evelyn retired to Port Perry, and died when Boppy was 59.

He died on August 18, 1974 in Broadlands Farm, Cartwright Township, Durham, Ontario, Canada. He is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, Toronto Municipality, Ontario, Canada.^[3]
