Biography

James Alfred Bowles was born in 1828 in Sussex, England, son of Martha (Wood) Bowles and Richard Bowles.[citation needed]

He married Mary Anne Lamperd on 11 July 1857 in Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia.[1] Their children were:[2]

James died on 28 May 1879 in Eaglehawk, Victoria.[3] His remains were buried at Eaglehawk Cemetery.[4]
