Biography

George was born in 1880 in Carlton, the second-born twin (brother of Jane), son of Robert William Bowie and Elizabeth Mary Bowie. [1]

In 1902 in Victoria, he married Clara May Foster. [2]

They had 3 children:—

George Albert Bowie (1902–1973)
Myrtle Isabella Bowie (1905–1906)
Stephen Roy Bowie (1913–2002).

George passed away in 1948, aged 67. [3]
