Biography
Ursule was born and baptized Jan 28, 1808, in Memramcook.[1] She is the daughter of Maximin Bourque and Veronique Doiron.
Ursule married Jean Comeau on 7 Nov 1837 in Westmorland County, New Brunswick.[2] They were both noted as being from the parish of Cape Bald (Cap-Pele). Witnesses were Joseph Bourque (her brother) and Marguerite Richard.
She died on 3 May 1877 and was buried two days later in Minudie, Nova Scotia.[3] Her age noted in the burial record was 69 years, the wife of Jean Comeau.
Research Notes
Ursule's brother, Isidore Bourque, was the godfather for her son Maximilien Comeau. Her sister, Rosalie Bourque, was the godmother for her daughter Elizabeth Comeau. Her brother, Joseph Bourque, was a witness at her marriage.
