Biography
Evidence indicates that Rosa Belle Bouman was the d/o Richard Andrew "Andy" Bouman (1850–1923) and his first wife Mary E. Click (1852–1879).
Rosa married John S. Coon (1867–1919) on 2 Jul 1889 in Huntington Co, IN. He was the son of Thomas A Coon (1837–1881) and Phebe Jane Scott (1836–1870) of Huntington Co, IN.
John and Rosa were the parents of 5 known children: William Henry Coon (1890–1970) Harvey Glen Coon (1892–1950) Cora Marie Coon (1896–1970) Mary Josephine Coon (c.1899 - aft.1954 research ongoing) Lettie Mae Coon (1902–1902)
Rosa died 2 months after the birth of Lettie Mae Coon and the baby died a little over a week later. John Coon sent his young sons off to work and placed his daughters with families in Carroll County, where he took a job nearby.
