MORRISTOWN. Morristown, April 22.—The funeral of Joseph Boulton. who died on April 13th, was held the 16th from Christ Episcopal church. Mr. Boulton was 75 years of age. He was one of the old war veterans, having joined Co. B, 106 regiment N. Y. V., under Capt. McDonald, on August 1, 1862. He was captured in action June 14, 1863, at Martinsburg. Va.', and was held a prisoner of war 22 months and 14 days. ;He was born at Landsdowne, Ont.. Feb. 5, 1832. Mr. Boulton leaves a widow, three daughters, Mrs. W. L. Johnson, of Theresa, Miss Lizzie and Julia Boulton of Morristown village and one son. John Boulton of Idaho. Interment was held in our beautiful cemetery. The G. A. R. attending in a body.[1]
