On her 22 Mar 1899 marriage record[1] she stated that she was 34 years old and her parents were John and Maria Bordin.
According to the 1901 census, she was born 25 September 1865 in Nova Scotia.[2]
According to the 1911 Canadian census, she was born September 1864 in Nova Scotia.[3]
On her 3 Nov 1921 entry to the US,[4] she stated she was 57 and born in Sheffield Mills, Nova Scotia, Canada.
While birth records exist in Nova Scotia Archives starting in 1864,[5] no record is listed for her birth so perhaps she was actually born before that date.
Her parents may be John Alexander Borden and Maria Bentley. The births of two of their children (William Perry on 12 October 1866 and Sarah I on 6 December 1869) are recorded in Sheffield Mills.
The Bellingham Herald reported on 16 Sep 1933:

Surviving are the widower, Thomas Pearson; two brothers, John N. Borden, of Nova Scotia, and William P. Borden, of Alaska; and one sister, Mrs. Thomas Forsythe, of Nova Scotia.
Funeral rites will be held at the Homer Mark chapel Monday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. J.H. Avery officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn cemetery.
She is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ferndale, Whatcom, Washington, USA.
[6] Her birth date is given as 25 Sep 1867 but with no source.
