Linda, Steve and Stan where born while residing there, Linda and Stan at Windber Hospital, Steve at home. Linda began school in 1955. Ward worked for Tom McNeil lumber, cutting and hauling trees. In the fall of 1956 the family moved to a 148 acre farm, not far from Schellsburg, P.A.. Steve started attending school from this location. Rick was born during this time period. Ward and Lillian worked the farm, with Ward continuing his work for Tom. In the spring of 1959, after two years of drought the family moved to Cleveland, Ohio. This house was built around 1850 by a retired sea captain, but converted to an apartment building during World War II. The rent from the apartments helped supplement the family's income. Dave and Glenda were born in Cleveland. Dave was born at Grace Hospital and Glenda at Lutheren. Steve and Linda graduated from West High School. Both married, but continued to reside in this house until its sale. Ward's main employment during this time was with the Parma Board of Education as a landscaper, then mechanic and bus driver. In the fall of 1971 Ward, Lillian, and the four youngest children moved to Olmsted Falls, Ohio. The four - Stan, Rick, Dave, and Glenda Completed high School at Olmsted Falls. Ward retired From the Parma schools in 1987.
