George was born in 1787. He was the son of Josiah Boone and Hannah Hite. He passed away in 1841.

George Boone⁽⁷⁾, born 1782, Woodford Co., Kentucky; died January 10, 1841 Indianapolis, Marlon Co., Indiana. while serving in the Indiana House of Representatives. (Son of Josiah Jr.'s⁽⁶⁾, 1st marriage). Married May 30, 1807 Shelby Co., KY to Elizabeth "Betsy" McCammon. Elizabeth McCammon Boone born December 3, 1786 in Kentucky; died April 15, 1840 Paxton, Indiana. Both George and Betsey McCammon Boone are buried in the Boone Cemetery southwest of Paxton, Indiana.
