Biography

Raymond represented the United States in Ice Hockey in the Antwerp Olympics of 1920.

Raymond Leroy Bonney was born in 1892 in New York.[1] He was the son of Frederick Bonney and Mary Inez Tanner.[2] Raymond was an ice hockey player and he was on the first United States Olympic Ice Hockey team that went to the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp, Belgium. Ice Hockey was in the Summer Olympics in 1920 because there were no Winter Olympics at that time. Raymond was the goaltender, and the team won a silver medal.[3][4]
