Biography

John Boniface was baptised in Eastergate, Sussex on 12 November 1752. He was the son of John Boniface & Elizabeth.^[1]

John Boniface (of Eastergate, aged 21) married Elizabeth Boniface (of Aldingbourne, aged 19) at Aldingbourne, Sussex, England on 1 February 1774.^[2][3][4] Known issue:-

Research Notes

There was an alternative baptism previously used for this profile on 21 June 1752 at Aldingbourne, Sussex to parents George & Elizabeth however they were the parents of his wife Elizabeth Boniface.^[11] The marriage record indicates that John is from Eastergate, Sussex so is a better match.

This profile may also represent two different people. There is no burial apparent for the first wife Elizabeth Boniface (bef.1754-) after the baptism of son George Boniface (1785-) on 15 April 1785 and prior to the 22 November 1785 marriage to Mary (Sinden) Boniface (1766-1839). The marriage is also 46 miles away from where he was living and too soon after the baptism to be likely.
