Biography

Winifred was born July 12, 1904 in Wigan, Lancashire, England and was baptised there on August 21st at St Andrew's. She is the daughter of Elizabeth Freestone and John Frederick Bone. Her father's occupation was coach builder and they were living at 41 Ryland Street. On her Birth Registration Record her mother's maiden name was listed as Freestone[1]
