Joseph Bolt was born in Cornwall, England.

Joseph was born in 1864 in Redruth, Cornwall. He married Elizabeth Jane Doney on 9th June 1884 at Holy Trinity in Burnley. ^[1]

The Bolt family are in Habergham Eaves for the 1891 census. Along with Joseph and Elzabeth three children have been born to the couple. ^[2] And also in the 1901 census with a slightly expanded family. ^[3]

In 1911 the family still lives in Habergham Eaves. ^[4]

75 year old Joseph and 77 year old Elizabeth are both listed on the 1939 National Register of England and Wales, taken 29 Sep 1939, just before the start of World War II. He is a retired Cotton Weaver and she a retired Cotton Winder. They're sill living in the Burnley area. ^[5]

Joseph died in 1944 and was buried in Burnley on March 22nd. ^{[6] [7]}
