Birth Year Estimation

Before 1032 First Marriage to Gille Coemgáin

m.1 ante 1032 Gille Coemgáin of Moray, born 1000, died d.1032). [3]

Before 1032 Gruoch was married to Gille Coemgáin mac Maíl Brigti, Mormaer of Moray, with whom she had at least one son, Lulach mac Gille Coemgáin, later King of Scots. Gille Coemgáin was killed in 1032, burned in a hall with 50 of his men. The next year one of her male relatives, probably her only brother, was murdered by Malcolm II. [1]

Gruoch of Scotland, mustered fierce opposition against Malcolm II, who responded by killing her first husband, Gillacomgen of Moray.

Second Marriage to MacBeth

m.2 "MacBeth"[4]

Gruoch ... then pregnant... fled to her cousin-in-law Macbeth, son of Donada and Findlaech. Shortly after, in 1032, she married him and became Lady Macbeth.

1041 Death and Burial

She died about 1041 and is buried at Iona.

I would add the UK Royal website as a source, noting that this site includes a search engine at top... and consider all spelling variants of names: https://www.royal.uk/search?search_text=gruoch&op=Search

Gruoch-1 and Boite-6 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate
If this woman is the same as the Wikipedia article below, she is mistakenly married to the wrong Macbeth
