Madeline Celeste Klinkhamer, 86, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 16, 1937 to Theodore and Madeline Rhea Boike. Predeceased by her loving husband, George "Klink" Klinkhamer of 59 years and brother Theodore Raymond Boike. She is survived by her daughter Karen Kemp (Steven); grandsons Alexander (Meghan) and Daniel (Kacie) Kemp; and great grandchildren Joanna and Peter. Most of her employed years were spent in the greater Detroit area where she worked various jobs as a secretary and bookkeeper. Celeste loved camping and spent one weekend a month, year round, camping with her beloved Robin Hood Rovers camping club. After retiring, Celeste also enjoyed traveling and cruising with her husband, family or friends. She took 54 cruises in her lifetime, totaling 431 days, all around the world. She thoroughly enjoyed the planning that went into each trip. She also had a passion for card playing; bridge, euchre, pinochle, or hand and foot, often the instigator in starting a group if one didn't exist.
