Henry H Boeke was born 29 Mar 1845 in Prussia. He Immigrated in 1848 at about 3 years of age. He married in 1868 to Mary Adelia Hoehnert who had Immigrated in 1858 at about 12 years of age. He died 30 Apr 1939 in Vanderburgh County, Indiana and is buried in
Bethlehem United Church of Christ Cemetery, Evansville, Indiana.

Henry ran for County Commissioner on the Republican ticket in 1890 ref name="County Comm 1890 Henry"/ (Assume this is Henry H)

At the time of the 1900 Census, the family lived and worked at the Alms House (poor house) with more than 100 inmates.^[9]
