Private Claudius Boatman performed Patriotic Service in Pennsylvania in the American Revolution.

Claudius Boatman was born in 1715 in France. He passed away in 1819.

Claudius was abducted and trained in the French Army. He also served in the French and Indian war and American Revolution. Listed in muster roll County of Westchester, New York in 1759.[1]

Arrived in the American colonies in 1759 at New York, New York.

Claudius and Esther lived in Limestone Run area near what is now Milton. In 1785 to be with their two children Fanny and Jane. They settled in the Pine Creek area near Jersey Mills.

Claudius lived to be one of the oldest residents in the Big Pine Creek Valley. He lived to be 104 and died in 1819. He is buried by son in law John English Sr on English Island at Waterville.

Claudius Boatman was my 5th great grandfather who fought in the French and Indian wars . He fought in the French wars . He fought in the Revaluation war He fought in the Muncy Villey Pennsylvania war . He was taken out from his mother at the age of 7 and put into the French Army .
