Sarah Margaret BLUNDEN was born prob. at Willingdon, Sussex England, and baptised on 8 Mar 1743 at Willington Sussex ^[1]. Her parents were Her parents were John BLUNDEN and Ann Unknown. Sarah may have had sibs.

She married John DUNK in Mountfield Sussex England on 20 Oct 1767^[2]. John was aged 20 years, and Sarah was also aged 20 years.

They had at least 6 children^[3]:

Research Notes

Look for Sarah Blunden (as per marriage certificate). Assume birth is in Mountfield and between 1727 (age 50 when Jesse is born) and 1751. Most likely range is between 1737 (age 40 when Jesse is born) and 1747 (age 20 when married). Note that the only facts we have are 'Sarah' and 'Blunden', estimated place and date range.

Six results:

• 1730, Sarah born to William in Amgmering (x2 - same date and names)
• 1743, Sarah born to John + Ann Blunden in Willingdon (x2 - same date and names)
• 1741, Sarah born to Edward + Mary Blunden in Wadhurst
• 1729, Sarah born to John + Elizabeth Blunden in Salehurst

At this point, either her father is NOT William or she is NOT born in 1743. If birthplace is accurate, father is wrong. If father is right, date and birthplace are wrong.

What about checking death (for age of deceased). Did Sarah remarry after husband's death in 1812? There are no Sarah Dunk or Blunden deaths in Mountfield between 1830 and 1834. So that didn't help.
