Biography

SN 59591

Reginald was born in 1897 in Feilding. He was the son of George Blunden and Sarah Buchanan.

He served with the Canterbury Infantry Regiment, 1st Battalion. He died of wounds received during the Battle of the Somme in 1918 and was buried at Bagneux British Cemetery, Gezaincourt, Somme, France AWMM VI U. 16. There is also a memorial on the grave of his father in the Feilding Cemetery.
