Biography

Theodore Blosser is one of twins.
Theodore David Blosser was born April 27, 1880[1] and is the son of John Blosser and Sudna Long. Theodore grew up in Spencer, West Virginia[2][3] along with eight half-siblings; Eliza Blosser, Philip Blosser, Peter J Blosser, Henry Blosser, Robert Blosser, Matilda Jane Blosser, Malinda Elizabeth Blosser, William Nelson Blosser, eight siblings; David Blosser, Jesse Blosser, Renda Isabelle Blosser, John Wesley Blosser, Charles P Blosser, W Oliver Blosser, Harrison Blosser and twin brother Alvadore Blosser.

Theodore registered for the World War I draft[4] on September 12, 1918 the same day as his twin Alva and both did not serve. He registered for the World War II draft in 1942.[5]

Theodore married Charity Tonks May 12, 1901 in Roane, West Virginia[6] and made their home in Burning Springs, West Virginia where he made his living as a farmer,[7] Little Levels, West Virginia where he was a woodsman cutting pulp,[8] Lubeck, West Virginia where in 1930, he was laborer in the Rayon plant[9] and in 1940, he was watchman for the WPA.[10] Together they raised four children; Jinny Blosser, Lloyd A Blosser, Mamis Blosser and Earl Blosser. Theodore died May 9, 1948[11] and is buried in Bethel Cemetery, Wood, West Virginia, United States.[12]
