Biography
Rodney John Derek Blois was born on 12 November 1941. He is the son of Sir Gervase Ralph Edmund Blois, 10th Bt. and Audrey Winifred Johnson.
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England. In 1968 he inherited his father's estate of Cockfield Hall, in Yoxford, Suffolk, but only on the condition that he moved in and maintained the property. He did this until 1995, when he put the property on hte market for £950,000.
He married Lady Elizabeth Caroline Elinor Evelyn Giffard, daughter of John Anthony Hardinge Giffard, 3rd Earl of Halsbury and Elizabeth Adeline Faith Godley, on 2 November 1968.
