Biography

Jacob was born about 1635 to 1640. He passed away in 1701. Jacobus married Saran Pieters, daughter of a Pieter Hasenbroeck, in the Reformed Dutch church in Manhattan, 16 August, 1665.[1] Sarah was the widow of Jacobus Kolfs.

His daughter Jannetie, recorded as the daughter of Jacob Janszen and Saertie Pieters, was baptized in the Reformed Dutch Church of New Amsterdam on 7 February 1666. Witnesses were Jacques de Coster and Jannetje Fredricks.[2]

I connected him to his father. I have not yet created a profile for his mother (presumably Sarah Puten).
