Biography
William was born in 1649. William Blackler ... He passed away in 1731. [1]
William was son-in-law of John Codner whose estate was divided in the winter of 1725-6, the mansion house and land adjoining, being assigned to his son-in-law William Blackler and his wife and children, William, John, Elias and Elizabeth, the parents having a life estate, and the children the remainder in fee. The house was gone in 1732;* when the Blacklers made a division of the estate. Essex Registry of Deeds, book 105, leaf 54. [2]
