[FROM VARIOUS CORRESPONDENTS ]
OBITUARY.— It is my painful duty to have to record the death of a young man, by the name of Ambrose Blackford, which took place at his father's residence, Cooranbong, on last Sunday morning. He came from Sydney, where his wife and family resides, a few weeks ago, in order to recruit his failing health, but alas, cruel death ne'er permitted him to return. Well might he have said on his arrival here " Father I've come home to die." An inquest on his remains, was held on Monday morning by Mr. Reeves P.M., but I have not ascertained the verdict recorded. I believe he was ailing from Rheumatic Fever, and lung disease. He was interred in the Roman Catholic Necropolis on Monday afternoon. His funeral was attended by upwards of a hundred persons. He leaves a large number of relatives to mourn their loss. Requiescat in pace. [8]
