The biography for Darleen Bittner is empty. What can you add?
Was born in Presque Isle, Maine, where my Father was serving in the US Air Force, as an airplane mechanic. After he was discharged, my parents returned to Indiana. Both of my parents grew-up on farms, so Dad had 30 acres and buildings that were over 100+ yrs. old. Dad eventually added a bathroom and utility room onto the house. I'm the oldest with 5 younger brothers (1 now deceased).
I graduated from Anderson Univ. with my degree in Nursing and Fort Wayne Bible College with a degree in Missions. I worked at a Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana and the local hospital, until I went to Haiti, as a Missionary Nurse.
I always wrote down my family's birthdays, weddings, etc. (included Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins). I had them memorized. As I grew older, I became interested in our family geneology.
