Constance Urie "Connie" Birell (married name Fraser) was born in 1883 in Williamstown, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Jean Livingstone, and Robert Birrell.[1]
She married James Fraser in 1918 in Victoria. [2]
Connie died on 22 April 1942 in Williamstown MRS. C. FRASER. A well-known and very highly esteemed resident of 20 Pasco St., in the person of Mrs. Constance Fraser, better known as Connie Birrell, died on Friday morning at the local hospital, after an illness of only a few days. Deceased was born locally, and was the widow of the late James Fraser, who pre-deceased her five months ago. She leaves one daughter, Jean, to mourn her loss. The funeral, private, at which many beautiful floral tri-butes were received, took place on Saturday morning, leaving her residence for interment in the local cemetery. Ernest W. Jackson was the funeral director, and the Rev. James Walker held a service in the home and officiated at the cemetery. [3]
