In the 1940 census Charlie (age 20), Seru Sta Attend, was the single lodger of Shelly Davis in Dade, Florida.^[3]

Charles (32) married Etta Louise Dunson (31) (born on May 18, 1921 in Georgia; daughter of Joe Dunson and Bessie Rosa Lee (Hollingsworth) Dunson) on June 11, 1952 in Columbus, Franklin.^[4]

Charles died on January 29, 1973 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio, United States, aged 53.^[5][6][7]
