Florence was born about 1868. She was the daughter of William Bilton and Eliza Matthews. She passed away in 1908. [1]

- DEATHS
- SCHAEFER.—On the 2nd November, 1908, after long and painful illness, Florence K. A. (nee Bilton), dearly beloved wife of Herr R. F. Schaefer, professor of music, and mother of Otho and Dorris Schaefer. Interred Geelong.
- At rest with Jesus. [2]
The following day, 3rd November 1908, her remains were interred under the name of Florence 'Schafer' in the Geelong Eastern Cemetery (Baptist - Section 1 - Grave 91). [3]
