At some point between 1841 and 1871 Hiram married his second wife Harriett Francis.
The 1871 England and Wales Census shows the couple living in Penge, Surrey, England.[3] Hiram was 58 years old and was working as a Bricklayer.
The 1881 England and Wales Census shows the couple living in Pound Street, Millbrook, Hampshire, England.[4] Hiram was 68 years old and was working as a Bricklayer.
Hiram passed away in 1885 in South Stoneham, Hampshire, England[5] and was buried on 25 April of that year in Shirley, Hampshire, England.[6] He was 73 years old.
